Training Guide

Please review each section carefully. These topics summarize the key areas of the Mount Zion Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Policy.

1. Recognizing Harassment

Harassment may include physical, verbal, visual, digital, or social media conduct that is unwelcome, inappropriate, offensive, intimidating, or discriminatory.

2. Respectful Ministry Culture

We are called to serve with humility, kindness, patience, and self-control. Every ministry space should reflect safety, spiritual maturity, and mutual respect.

3. Reporting Concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment or discrimination is encouraged to report the concern promptly to the Human Resources Ministry Chair or the Diaconate Ministry Chair.

4. Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation

Reports will be handled as confidentially as possible. Retaliation against anyone who reports or participates in a review or investigation is strictly prohibited.

5. Our Faith Standard

Mount Zion seeks restoration, accountability, and protection in a manner that honors God and preserves the witness of the church.
