The Mount Zion Baptist Church Brotherhood is a strategically organized ministry focused on strengthening the spiritual and the relational vitality of the men as they work to support the church and its mission ad goals.

The purpose of the brotherhood is to organize, coordinate and otherwise assist each male member of the congregation in finding his place within the Church and to help cultivate the Christian life of brothers through study, worship, Christian stewardship, leadership and service.

The mission is to, “Mobilize men for Christian centered leadership and service to family, church and community.”

The program goals are: (1) Organize the men to effectively deliver Christian services and support to the men of Mount Zion and the community, (2) Implement programs and activities that are consistent with the Church’s mission and goals; (3) Sponsor recreational activities and youth programs  (4)  Support the local and national laymen’s programs, (5) Sponsor spiritual renewal services, Bible Study Classes for men, leadership training and informational workshops that helps prepare men for Christian service, and (6) Increase the Brotherhood’s visibility and participation by addressing some of the major issues that are confronting our community.
